salsa verde para marisco (seafood green sauce)
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of chopped onion
2 jalapeño peppers, stems removed
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
2 ripe avocados, peeled and pit removed
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 a lime juice
1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
1 cup of water
Directions:
In a blender add all the ingredients together and blend well until smooth.
Serving suggestions:
This salsa goes great with fish tacos, shrimp tacos or almost any type of seafood. To prevent it from turning brown: add a pit of the avocado in the salsa where it is being served
