Ingredients:
- 1 pound of tomatillos, husks removed and washed
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup of chile de arbol
- salt or to taste
- ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp of chopped cilantro
- 1 cups of water
Directions:
Preheat broiler. Place tomatillos, chile de arbol, and garlic, on a baking sheet. Drizzle the tomatillos, peppers and garlic with olive oil and season with pepper and salt to taste. Broil for about 10 to 15 minutes. Turn occasionally to get the tomatillos charred evenly. In a blender add the water, cilantro, garlic cloves, chile de arbol, tomatillos, salt to taste and blend until the desired consistency of the salsa. Let it cool completely before refrigerating.
