Ingredients:
- 1 cup of de arbol dry peppers, stems removed, washed and dried
- 1 cup of olive oil
- salt to taste
- 4 garlic cloves
Directions:
In a deep pan add 1 cup of oil on medium heat. The oil must be hot but not smoking. Add the peppers, garlic and toast them evenly in the olive oil.
In a blender add all the ingredients from the pan, including the olive oil (cool down the oil before adding it to the blender) and season with salt to taste. Pulse until the salsa is well blended.
